What to expect in the Swamps and in Novia's abode

I suppose it won't be long before the Bahama Swamps will be made accessible to all, so here's a list of mobs to expect once entering the area. Maybe there you'll have an idea on what to stock up before entering the said map.

And then there are the goons found in Novia's Parlor. Heads up for the raid boss, Griffon!

Saving the New World from rats

"Have you got everything we need, Garion?" Tala asked as she polished her bayonet.

"We're all set to go, sis." Garion handed the last pack of healing potions to Sidapa, to which she faithfully stored in her trusty bags.

Tala eyed her twin brother with raised eyebrows. "What's up with the clothes?" she asked, pertaining to Garion's swim wear attire.

Garion smiled impishly. "Oh nothing. I thought maybe I can score some chicks while we're out on a mission."

She rolled her eyes. "Oh and Sidapa, don't tell me you want to score some hunks too?"

Sidapa made a piroutte and gave a small curtsy. "How do I look?"

"Like a pregnant whale," Tala noted with exasperation as she glanced at the Scout's bear suit. "Never mind. Let's go. We don't want to be late."

After packing their belongings, the DeSanggria family composed of the twins Tala the Musketeer and Belgarion the Wizard, along with their cousin, Sidapa the Scout, trooped to the entrance near the Queen's Gate in Reboldoeux to await their comrades.

Indeed, this new family of heroes who have come from the far corners of the Caravaggio province approached this new mission with much hesitation. Moving from Caravaggio to the province of Caracci was not an easy task for them, as they had to sell their assets in order to start anew. However, the kind and benevolent Outcasts Faction took them under their wing upon hearing of their arrival.

This new mission was a test for them. After learning about the apparent kidnapping of the young summoner, Viki, the Outcasts have enlisted themselves to join in the quest to retrieve the boy. Apparently, rumors of an evil Pied Piper was behind the abduction of the child. This particular mission would test their mettle in combat, after having trained for some time with their faction mates.

"Hello there! You're just in time, guys. You're joining my squad," said the Yecku family. Quite a number of the Outcasts Faction have already gathered near the gates as they awaited their instructions. The air was filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety as the faction discussed their plans for this mission.

Suddenly, a loud voice pierced the air. "Pioneers! I've been hearing rumors of rats sighted around Rion Praire. Are you ready?" The small, shrilly sound of Feng Ling's voice wafted throughout the city.

"Alright people, let's hussle! Move to Rion, now!" Faction leader †Bayushi† commanded.

Tala turned to her brother and cousin and gave a curt nod. Sidapa casted the acceleration buff while Garion moved to the air with swift grace. The team then moved outside the gates to the entrance at Rion.

The team was quite surprised to see a lot of families in the valley. Beyond the distance, Sidapa eyed a pack of rats and gave a disgusted shriek.

Garion didn't waste any time and rained a blast of photon splash on the ugly turds. "What the hell? What are these rodents made of?!" he exclaimed.

Nobody was able to say anything, as ground shook with much ferocity. Then, an ugly roar filled the entire valley.

"LEEN I WILL KILL YOU!!! AAAAHHH!!!"

"Holy crap it's Gerero!"

"@&*#$^#$!!! DIABLO!!!"

A multitude of Diablos and Gereros spawned the fields as everyone scrambled to stay clear of the monsters' AoE attacks. Just as these monsters quickly appeared, instantaneous screams of death followed at their wake. Tala, who was able to dodge some attacks while firing from a distance, got hit by a flying fist of a nearby Gerero, while Garion dropped to the ground as Diablo unleashed its fury. Sidapa, on the other hand, was already lying facedown on the ground.

"It's a massacre here. We need help!" a distraught Fighter cried.

"Pied Piper! Come out, come out!" Feng Ling screeched.

"Feng Ling Jie Jie! Pied Piper's Remora is selling me to Andre Jackson! T.T" Viki's terrified voice cut through the air.

"Who the hell is Andre Jackson?" someone asked.

It was a bit weird to see the exchange of dialogue while everyone was busy trying not to die while the rampage went on. The DeSanggrias were quite helpless as the could not be revived, not while their team mates were busy defending and attacking the monsters as well.

Just as they contemplated on their sorry state, a cool touch swept around them, healing their wounds. They looked up to see a pretty girl in a pink dress with angel wings. Beside her was Feng Ling, who was dressed in a pink and white suit.

"A GM! We're saved! Ress us please, GM!"

Garion bowed. "We owe you our lives, GM Eulalie."

The little girl smiled and walked away. Feeling renewed, the team went around their business to help their fallen comrades. "Sidapa, ress all those who need it. Garion, you and I are taking down that ugly piece of crap over there," Tala pointed to the big, hulking Gerero.

The twins proceeded to hack the monster from a distance, aiding their squadmates. Meanwhile, GM Eulalie was being surrounded by a flock of admirers.

"GM ress please."

"GM we wan m0ar Diablos!!!"

"Noooooo!!!"

"WE WAN GRIFFON LEH!!"

"How about Novia then?"

"GM let's date!"

"This is insane," Tala muttered. She was sandwiched between the mass of Eulalie's followers along with her brother and cousin. Nevertheless, she was thankful for the GM's presence as he buffed everyone with Hrin's Touch as well as revived the fallen families.

I guess this isn't so bad, she thought.

GM Eulalie, who was thoroughly enjoying the attention and the jokes, turned to please everyone by summoning treasure mobs, to which it dropped a few items.

"Man, these are crap stuff!" Garion exclaimed while examining a clean Calabrone.

"Shut up, just be thankful. We can chip the stuff we don't need you idiot," berated Sidapa.

"Wah lao! A lvl 96 chip!" Tala squealed.

Just as when everyone claimed their loot from the treasure mobs, Feng Ling happily announced the success of the mission. Viki was once again safe from the evil clutches of Andre Jackson...errr...the Pied Piper.

"I shall see you soon, everyone." said GM Eulalie, and he vanished...leaving a trail of pink feathers at his wake.

===

Hope you enjoyed reading my account of the Year of the AraRAT event in Caracci. I also logged in to Caravaggio to take part, but it looks like Caracci's activity was a lot more fun. GM Eulalie was very nice as he (yes it's a he! XD) revived and buffed all of us while we all tried to cajole him into summoning Griffon (no can do though, as Eulalie said). Not only that he also summoned some treasure mobs where we got some nifty loot!

Alas, such did not happen in Caravaggio.

I can't remember how many times I died, although I have to give credit to the GM in attendance as she revived us as well. But most of the time, people relied on their squad scouts' ress powers and buffs.

And perhaps the only significant thing that happened to me was this:

Yeah, he did cream me there. XD Not that I relish the idea of being killed by a boss monster (with an AR and DR of 62 to boot >.<), but doesn't everyone want to be called out by Gerero himself? It would've been better if I brought him down though. But being the noob that I was...hahaha...yeah right.

Not Another Love Story 2: Zeee Preview

I've never been so excited, worried, anxious and constipated in my entire life!

Just now, Reclusion has uploaded Not Another Love Story 2 in Imeem and we're just waiting for the processing shiznits before we can obtain the link to spread the love.

I can't farking wait to watch the results of the hard work we all put up in the making of this FFA entry!

For the uninitiated, Not Another Love Story (NALS) is a different take on the Royalist x Republican conflict as it particularly talks about the love story gone awry between Princess Gabriella and Simon Ayende. NALS 2 expounds more on that angle, delving more into the personalities of these two characters and the reason why both parties have been at each other's throats.

The group of Reclusion, NineMoons and Behringer adds a bit more twist to this FFA entry by doing the unthinkable. They've turned their movie into a musical!

Yep, you read it right.

So yeah, I'm just as excited to watch the full video. But in the meantime, here are some screenshot previews of Not Another Love Story 2: Zeee Musical.

GE Bloggers meet once again

Today was quite a productive one for me, despite the fact that I purposely skipped Colony Wars to co-spearhead the 2nd GE PH bloggers meeting. Together with some of my good friends and fellow bloggers in GE, we spent the afternoon talking about the game and our recent experiences about it.

The group was mainly composed of fairly active gamers, with majority of the bloggers present have been blogspotted in the sGE website. We naturally talked about the issues besetting not just the PH community, but the entire SEA GE gamers as well. The points of discussion were somewhat lengthy and would be better off seen and heard (no pun intended :P) by the respective distributors of the game, but we did arrive at a consensus to help mobilize the community to become more pro-active when it comes to concerns that matter most to all of us who play the game.

And since most of us were likewise participants to the Fantazztic Film Awards, we talked much about each other's films, spurning great interest in what transpired in the discussions that happened in the forums as well.

Looking back on the 1st bloggers meeting, there were only quite a handful who attended, but today saw the addition of new faces, and hopefully, more bloggers into the fore of becoming the voice of the community. And for that, let me applaud the following people who attended:

To end this post, I will kill your browsers once again with a few pictures from our fun meeting. XD

The meeting was sponsored by Starbucks (aka Commoner's Coffee) and an overwhelming supply of Choc-O-Star (to which Nate gladly pigged out on).

The perfunctory group pic, less NineMoons, who was the photographer on this one.

The state of the Republican Alliance in Caracci

With the recent map reset, the map of Granado Espada once again starts on a clean slate. And with the map reset, we all know that the only biggest obstacle that lay in any faction's sight that night was about TIME.

Last Sunday's war was my first time to actually participate in the Caracci CW, after patiently waiting for my internet connection not to screw up on me. And so, together with the Outcasts army, we made preparations for the war up ahead. After previously saving in some spots in Katovic, Ustiur Uno and Dos, Scorching and Via Fluvial, the guys headed off first to the snowy fields up north, while I stayed behind to await the next target (I couldn't very well save a warp point to Katovic as I'm still a fledgling weakling XD).

The fight was fast because it was not long before Destiny faction claimed the colony as their own, as they've done so many times before.

We made our way next to Scorching Plateau, in which I was quite excited as I was able to help out in whacking the beacon. It was in this close enounters in colony breaking that I realized that the colony's HP can only last for a few short minutes before finally giving in. And trust me, if you have a deluge of Diegos spamming blenders, Feng Lings, Vikis and levitating Wizards to sweep the competition, you're going to have one massive and messy war.

Our initial targets were soon occupied by the Royalists, with only a few colonies left without owners. I can't very well remember our failed attempts, but I do remember that we got KSed a couple of times, but we eventually owned Bonavista and El Canon de Diabolica (kindly correct me if I'm wrong), that was, until after we were swept by 3 Royalist factions.

Seeing red in Bonavista

Another Republican faction by the name of WarGodz was able to claim Jezebel Glen (again, please correct me if I'm wrong ^^), only to be warred upon by several Royalists.

I may not know the whole political picture of the Royalists and Republicans in this server, but I am just amazed at how the Royalists manage to floor over the Republicans week after week. I may probably get flamed for this, but if ever there are any Republicans or Neutralist factions in Caracci who are reading this, I think it's about high time for a revolution. This goes especially to the Neutralists: make a stand. The odds maybe against the underdogs, but their time will come. It's just a matter of standing up and standing proud in spite of adversities.

Colony owned!

I've received word as I logged in to Caravaggio last night that †Legion† owned a colony last Sunday!

Wooohoo Rion Praire!

It may be a short-lived ownership, but nevertheless, I'm very happy and proud of my faction. Kudos to FL Spardo, Lekz and Leks (our dual expert brothers) for leading the group.

Pimping zeh ghey Elementalist

Yes, my Elementalist is ghey. And he loves showing it off. XD

I wish I owned that Ventisca costume he's wearing, but I just borrowed it from FL Spardo, who indulged my sudden bouts of insanity by lending me the armor while taking a screenshot of Armeo in this pose.

I just couldn't resist. ^_^V

Oh and if I may say so, this Ventisca ensemble brings out the worst in the male Elementalist. He looks like he's reminiscing the 70s or something. =_=

The rebirth of CARNAGE

Just when I thought things were getting bland in GE, I received a pleasant surprise from my friend, Ogasawara.

Are we looking at the possible return of Cervantes' well-known faction since CBT?

I sincerely hope so. If that were the case then I'll have more reasons to visit (and to level) the first DeSanggria team. But I'm even more excited to join my first friends in GE...and perhaps to put some spark back in Cervantes Colony Wars. ^_~
